MISSION

A.W.A.R.E. - Animal Welfare Alliance for Rescue and Education is created to be a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that seeks to lower the number of homeless and feral animals in Maricopa County and surrounding areas. We seek to do this through rescue and education.

We hope our rescue efforts make a difference to hundreds of individual animals. Feline rescue activities are carried out through our feline rescue program - Goodkitties.org. Canine rescue activities are provided when needed through other established non-profit canine organizations. We readily network with other groups to make ends meet and provide for animals in need.

While providing rescue support, we aspire for greater change and a solution to the pet overpopulation problem though use of media and classroom programs to educate the public. A.W.A.R.E. believes that education is the ultimate answer to ending gross negligence in the valley that results each year in the euthanasia of tens of thousands of animals due to a shortage of homes. We can do better!

Be Aware of the Difference YOU Can Make!
